AIIMS Director Discusses Various Role of Homoeopathy in Cancer Care and encourages Collective Action to Combat Cancer
New Delhi. The Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Delhi State (HMAI Delhi) organized a one-day seminar on “Medical Oncology and Homoeopathy Panel Discussion” on 6th April 2025 at the Constitutional Club of India, New Delhi, an exceptional event to celebrate World Homoeopathy Awareness Week and World Homoeopathy Day.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Madhabnanada Kar, renowned Oncologist, Founder, and Executive Director of AIIMS Darbhanga, Bihar, as the Chief Guest by Lamp Lightening and paying Floral tributes to Dr. Hahnemann, Founder of Homoeopathy.
His presence and insights added immense value to the occasion. He emphasized and acknowledged the Role of Homoeopathy in the treatment of Cancers and as Precision Medicine in Oncology and shared personal experiences. He appreciated some of the research papers conducted by Homoeopathic bodies at various levels over the years in the treatment of various Cancers strengthening the fact that Homoeopathy has a huge role to play in Medical Oncology as adjuvant and supportive treatment for Cancer patients. Hr urged the Need for Joint Action Against Cancer.
Dr. KK Juneja, Chairman of Delhi Homoeopathic Board was the Guest of Honour, for his dedication to the field of homoeopathy. Dr. Kuldeep Sharma, Director of Radiation Oncology at Venkateshwar Hospital, New Delhi told about the latest modalities being used now a days like Liquid Biopsy etc. Dr. Tanvir Hussain from Malerkotla, Punjab, shared his enlightening perspectives on oncology and the pivotal role of homoeopathy in the field with some excellent cases and integrative approach towards the treatment of Cancers. The key point being to look for the Unusual, uncommon and peculiar symptoms of the individual patient
Being the 50th year of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Prof.Dr.A.K.Gupta, National Secretary Genaral, The Homoeopathic Medical Association of (HMAI) presented the audience with the vision of HMAI for the Roadmap of Homoeopathy and Homoeopathic Doctors. He emphasized on being the voice of Homoeopathic Doctors in India, amalgamation of all the Associations in the best interests of Homoeopathy, Bridging the gap between stalwarts and students, encouraging research in the field of Homoeopathy and compiling Evidence-Based data.
This event also witness the power of homoeopathy as #isupporthomeopathy campaign remained a powerful force in promoting homoeopathy internationally. More than 140 delegates from Delhi NCR graced the seminar with their presence and enthusiasm making the event a grand success. HMAI Delhi State presented Mementos in appreciation to the members of organization for their dedication to make this event a success.
